Editorial Perspective on Special Issue: Atrial Fibrillation
The Journal of clinical trials in cardiology [1] aims to present an excellent study to the humankind by publishing all the quality articles in the field of clinical trials and cardiology. The journal has continued its series by publishing the most current work in the field of cardiology by initiating various special issues in the cardiology field so as to emphasize the most significant work and research going on this field.

The objective of the special issue is to unite the growing global community of researchers functioning in the areas of cardiology to the different aspects of that field which are very much essential to be addressed and worked upon for the advancement of the human wellbeing. This special issue, Atrial Fibrillation provides a dais for all the eminent scientists, academic, students and researchers about the current information in the field of Atrial Fibrillation. Atrial Fibrillation takes a massive toll on our society. Most of the causalities' in our world are due to the disorders and diseases relating to heart and its outcome.

Atrial fibrillation (AF or A-fib) is an irregular heart pace symbolize by fast and irregular beating. Often it begins as brief periods of abnormal beating which turn out to be longer and perhaps constant over time. Most episodes have no symptoms. Sometimes there may be heart palpitations, fainting, dyspnea, or pain in the chest. The ailment raises the risk of heart stoppage, memory disorders, and stroke [2]. It is a type of supraventricular tachycardia.

At times it may lead to severe complications leading to the formation of blood clot in the heart that may circulate to other organs and lead to blocked blood flow. The cure for atrial fibrillation may include medications and other interventions to try to adjust the heart's electrical system [3]. The non-medication treatment of atrial fibrillation consists of pacemakers, AV node ablation, atrial defibrillators, and the Maze process [4]. Pulmonary vein isolation shows promise for the treatment of atrial fibrillation and has a high rate of success; however, longerterm experience is necessary.

Journal of Clinical Trials in Cardiology is a peer reviewed open access journal, completely intended for the international Scientific society that addresses current research on Clinical Trials in Cardiology, which aims to present a special podium for publishing high quality research work. The academic journal focuses to frame up an outstanding special issue on Atrial fibrillation so that we will be helpful to the society and shades the light on the ongoing research.
